Bonjour for Windows Version 3.0.0.10 VS Version 2.0.2

I needed Bonjour for Windows to be able to print from a printer connected by USB directly to my Apple Airport Extreme Base Station.

I had already downloaded & installed the Version 5.5.3 of Airport Utility for Windows.

The manual for the Airport Utility said that Bonjour was already installed with Airport Utility - so I searched for it.

I did find several files for Bonjour 3.0.0.10, but I could never open them. I did attempt to "repair" that version, but to no avail.

Not making any progress with trying to be able to use the Bonjour 3.0.0.10 already on my computer, I searched for the download with the intentions of just reinstalling it.

I was only able to find the Version 2.0.2 of Bonjour for Windows, so I downloaded & installed that.

Within a couple of minutes, I was able to print to the printer connected by USB directly to my Apple Airport Extreme Base Station.

Does anyone know what software would have installed Bonjour 3.0.0.10 & for what reason?

Is the Bonjour Version 2.02 for Windows really the latest version?

It is dated 6-3-2010 (pretty old isn't it?).

Ah, "Bonjour Print Services"--I didn't even know there was such a thing. I have only ever used Bonjour for syncing.

So you probably got v3.0.0.10 with iTunes, but for Print Services there's a different version of Bonjour. The question remains I guess, does the v3.0.0.10 that you get with iTunes also do Print Services? I'd guess not; that you need both. Dunno myself though.
