PLAYLISTS

Is there a way to arrange playlists in subcategories of an artist? For example, I have 3 cd's of Coldplay, but I have to have 3 individual playlists for each cd, rather than have subgroups of all 3 under the main playlist of Coldplay. The Smart Playlist does not subcategorize either. Any suggestions?
