I'll be sampling a song, and all of a sudden iTunes just stops(sometimes more than once on the same song). Does anyone have a clue what's going on here?

I opened iTunes in safe mode, and it worked just fine. I looked for old plug-ins and couldn't find any. Maybe I'm not doing it right. I'm on the right track I guess. Any further advice? I'm still doing something wrong.
I found the plug-in that was causing the problem. It's called Quartz Composer Visualizer. I trashed it, and all seems fine. Thanks much for solving this problem.
