bluetooth peripheral device

I keep getting missing driver for "bluetooth peripheral device" when trying to connect to my computer via bluetooth how can i fix this or should i take it back and get a droid.

iPhone 4 (8GB), iOS 5.1.1

Well, it will for other people, so there's something wrong with your Windows 7. If you don't have the latest version of iTunes installed then you need to install it. The drivers are bundled with it. You also need to be logged into an account with administrator privileges.


If you do have iTunes installed remove and reinstall it as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925


Finally, your security settings may be blocking a bluetooth connection. You might need to change your antivirus and firewall settings.

I believe this works.


1) Go to Bluetooth Software Download @broadcom and download updated Bluetooth for Windows software on your Bluetooth-enabled Windows PC or laptop.


2) Pair your iPhone to your Bluetooth-enabled Windows PC or laptop.


Now, you can possibly receive music and audio at your windows PC or laptop from your iphone and receive SMS message too.
