Q: I have an iPhone 3G with ioS 3.1.3. How do I upgrade to 3.2 to download a particular app but not to 4.2?

I have an iPhone 3G with ioS 3.1.3. How do I upgrade to 3.2 to download a particular app but not to 4.2 which doesn't work well with this particular phone?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.6), also have MacAir and iphone

This version (3.2) doesn't exist; iOS 3.1.3 is the latest version of iOS 3

What are you talking about? 4.2.1, the latest version for the iPhone 3G, works fine - great, even - with it.
