I'm trying to get some applications from my old mac to my new mac.

I have an iMac running Snow Leopard and a new MBP running Lion. I already have stuff on my MPB so i'll be using MA. I want to transer Photoshop to my new MBP using MA to save my settings. Will MA be able to get Photoshop on my MBP working? I was thinking to just sync the Applications, but do I have to select anything else, or will MA just move all of the Photoshop files to my MBP. I don't wish to sync everything, just the applications, I want a fresh start on this mac.

Thanks. 🙂

Your best bet if you have firewire ports would be:

How to use and troubleshoot FireWire target disk mode

FireWire target disk mode allows a Macintosh computer with a FireWire port (the target computer) to be used as an external hard disk connected to another computer (the host). Once a target computer is started up as a FireWire hard disk and is available to the host computer, you can copy files to or from that volume.
