Help!! HAVING AN ISSUE ABOUT MY 4S

Hello!

I have read lots of questions about the Shuffle function and I am aware of how to turn it on/off by clicking once on the album artwork.

That is not my question.

In ITunes and on my Nano, I can choose a playlist and when shuffle is activated it only shuffles the songs in my chosen playlist. This is not happening for me in my IPhone. When shuffle is on, it shuffles through all the songs including across playlists. When it is off, I can only play the playlist in order.

Can anyone help me with this? I'm hoping there is a simple answer that I'm not aware of...

try going into the album/playlist that you want, then press shuffle.

Nope. Didn't help at all. Instead, it just sorted my playlist from 1 of 140 to just 1 of 5. I don't get =(

I had same problem. To fix I went to playlists, and selected "purchased music". I then played that playlist, then double clicked the album art and suddenly the masthead with the shuffle / repeat functions suddenly reappeared.

Here's the problem,

Searchin for a specific song using the search box on top of every playlist kicks you out of shuffle.

that never happened to me before. just this update.

therefore, if i wanna hear a song within the shuffled playlist, I have to scroll all the way down just to find the song and continue on the shuffled playlist. Does anyone know how to fix this please?

its just a small thing, but it irritates me coz this never happened before.
