calendar bug

There is a bug in the iphone Calendar. When you create an appointment and set an alert and send an invitation, as soon as the other party accepts your invitation, the alert disappears. So you end up with a calendar appointment with no alert. You have to go back in and re-add the alert. Does anybody have a fix or know how to contact apple for bugs? Thanks. 😐
