How do you report an app that doesn't work?

I purchased Slide HD because it was rated well. It does not work. I realize that I am probably out the $.99, but wanted to warn others. When I contacted the developer I got no response. When I received an email from ITunes asking to rate the app or report a problem the link just gives me an error message. I am used to Andoid Market, or Play Store where if an app doesn't work out you can send it back immediately and get a refund with no hassle. Is there a workaround to report this program? Also if Apple is letting developers sell their apps in ITunes shouldn't there be some responsibility on the developers part to respond to customers?

Thank you. I had to use the Express Lane and send an email. I tried to use the support categories on the left hand pane, and just ended up goin in circles. Some of the pages have broken links, as is the link in the ref email sent by the ITunes Store.


Is there no simple way to immediately cancel an order if you realize in the first fifteen minutes that it is not working as expected?

Express Lane is indeed how you contact the iTunes Store. The page I provided the link to is the one you reach when you click "Contact Support" in the sidebar.

There is no way to cancel an order at all, not within fifteen minutes, not within fifteen seconds. Once you click the "buy" button, you've purchased the item, and the Terms of Sale for the iTunes Store state clearly that "all sales are final". So if you are requesting a refund, you have to email the iTunes Store via the form you reach through Express Lane, explain the reasons for the request and hope that iTunes Store Customer Service will grant you an exception.
