Jun 8, 2012 4:23 PM in response to MickJSby Shootist007,I have a B9180, thsat still works (go figure) and I can't find it either. On Windows it is simple, Control Panel Devices and printers (win 7) or Printers & Faxes (XP) then Printer preferences, Right click and select.
I opened Lightroom then select an image and click the print layout. From there I selected Print Setting and it would seem to change from Greyscale to Color you have to select the right kind of paper. If Plain Paper is selectwed there is no way to change to print in color. Or none that I can find.
Mac, you got to love em. NOT.
Good Luck.
PS
I'm glad I do all my photoshop work on a PC.

Jun 8, 2012 4:54 PM in response to MickJSby Shootist007,Honestly it is the most confusing thing I have ever dealt with. I was wondering why all the docs I print from my Mac came out in B&W (Greyscale) even if there was a color section to them. But from my PCs those same docs, and my Photos, Print in color. After reading your post I really tried to find that setting in every part of the Printer properties, clicking on every option, and could not find any option for printing in B&W/Greyscale/Color like I can on Windows.
Not sure if the paper change will make it print in color.
You got me. I am at a lose. Which I'm usually not.
NOTE
My B9180 is connected to my LAN and there is a problem with Lion and networked printers. Apple actually has a KB article that says some timess you must connect the printer to the USB port to install the drives. I didn't do that when I setup my HP printer.
Under "How to Add a Printer" third bullet down.

Jun 9, 2012 2:53 AM in response to Shootist007by MickJS,I have just printed a document wih a colour header and it was okay, my printer is USB connection only so there might be an issue there, I think the problem is with the HP software provided for mac not the mac it's self, if i find any info that prooves otherwise I will post it on here, in the meantime I will press on regardless.
