photos

a few weeks ago, I had my iPhone4 replaced at the apple store and they transferred all of the data/apps etc from my old phone to my new one and then wiped the old one. Ever since, the photos taken prior to that day show up in my photo album on the phone but when selected become blurry and won't transfer to my desktop/laptop or SMS. My phone was backed up to iCloud but that didn't seem to matter. Any idea how to remedy this?
