I'll be flying to Korea within 6 hours, and I have an important question that needs answer asap.
I heard iPhone automatically keeps its service in foreign country, in my case Korea, and as a result, it charges very expensive fee for such service.
However I do not wish to have iPhone to be work, I just need it's wireless function to work, not the phone function such as calling and text msging.
Because if someone from U.S. texts/calls me while I'm in korea, the fee will be huge..
Is there any way to prevent that from happening?
Turn on airplane mode, then turn on wi-fi - covered in the manual.
