DSUK_SETTINGS.DAT?
Hey,
Anyone know the source of a "DSUK_SETTINGS.DAT" file that appears in my documents folder randomly? I have deleted it only to have it return again.
Thanks

Have you looked at what it is? Open in a text editor to see if there is anything revealing.
Unfortunately opening the file with TextEdit does not result in anything that would indicate what it actually is 😟.
Can you post a sample of what you see?
Hmm. Blank data fork. So that's no use.😟
You can certainly delete it. But you say it eventually reappears again. So maybe there's a running process that periodically creates it and hopefully not some app you are explicitly launching. Because if it's the latter you will just have to keep that folder open and hope yo can correlate the appearance with whatever yo happen to be doing at the time.
To check if it is some background process post the files you see in the following places:
your Accounts login items
~/Library/LaunchAgents (use Finder Go menu, Go To Folder and type that pathname)
/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/StartupItems
You didn't have to do pictures. The list of names would do.
What about,
your Accounts login items
~/Library/LaunchAgents (use Finder Go menu, Go To Folder and type that pathname)
No worries it takes two seconds much quicker than typing the filenames.
That first screen is of ~/Library/LaunchAgents.
