I COPIED MY ITUNES LIBRARY TO DROP BOX AND LOST ALL MY FILES. HOW DO I RECOVER?

I thought I ocld simply copy my iTunes Loarray to Dropbx so I cold have access to my librabry on my MacAir whil travelling. It took many hours of copying to succussfully trafafer all this data. It appears to have worked but all DropBox shows is the list of files with zero data. My iTunde on my Mac has the entire library cotent listed but when I try to play a song the file is missing and cannnot be found. Can anyone sugest how I might be able to recover my many hundreds of files copied laboriously from my CD's? Thanks, Murray
