How to connect Macbook Air to a monitor
How can I connect my MacBook Air to a Monitor. Is there some function button to use?

What model MBA, or more precisely what kind of video port? Mini-displayport/thunderbolt? What kind of monitor? DVI? Mini-diplayport/thunderbolt? HDMI?
Whatever it is you need the appropriate adapter to connect them and then use your Displays system preferences to configure the monitor (resolution, refresh rate, mirrored or non-mirrored, arrangement).
