Almost any monitor you like, with the right adapter.

    What graphics card is installed?

It has a GeForce 7300 GT card in it. But this system will be mostly use for photography works. For playing video games no. The monitor will be a apple monitor. the one I am looking at through ebay is the 20" A1081 M9177LL/A

That monitor has a DVI port and the card does too so you can just plug the monitor in with no adapters required.

You really want to head to Amazon, pick up their 2 x 2GB kit (2) for $54.99 each for FBDIMM 667MHz to have more than just 4GB, and replace the old 320GB with a modern drive or SSD (both $119 ) for what you want to do, and if you have 10.6.5 then consider dumpingn the 7300GT before it dumps you for ATI $249 Apple 5770.

A lot of people for under $400 are investing in a pair of Xeon 2.66 4-core (8 core total) which would also pretty much double your audio performance.

But you need some RAM and hard drives in the end.

Lion will be the last OS this system works with.
