i reset my ipod and now when i turn it on it has a black screen that shows a pic of itunes and i push the home button but nothing happens what do i do

It wants you to connect it to iTunes. Connect it to your computer and iTunes should do the rest.
thats not working or doin anything either
- When you connect the iPod to yur computer does iTunes see the iPod?

- Manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try a restore
- Place in DFU mode and try to restore

If iTune sees the iPod what happens when you try to restore?
