Q: my apple tv connected to my wireless network last week; but now, when i turned it on tonight, it won't let me input the network password that works with all my computers a week ago.

i cannot get my apple tv to connect with my wireless network when i input the password even though it sees the network.

it worked last week when i used it.

all my pcs can sign on with the network password?

i tried changing the network password and that did not help either.

i unplugged all the units, apple tv, the moden and the router with no luck eitherhen i restarted them.

what i don't understand is why it was ok last week and now it isn't?

thanks...don

    Welcome to the Apple community.

Have you checked for interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.

You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.

Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.

There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.
