Mainstage stuck on 2.1.3 - doesn't detect that 2.2.1 is available for download. Please help! Why can't I upgrade?

Hey there!

My Mainstage has only updated to 2.1.3 - and hasn't been able to update past that version (now, Mainstage is upto 2.2.1) - does anyone know why my Software Update doesn't detect that it exists?

OS 10.6.8

Mainstage 2.1.3 purchased with standalone Logic Studio (came bundled with the boxset for $749)

Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.1Ghz, 4GB RAM.

Thanks!

MainStage, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

My system has been packed away while I move and was looking forward to doing the update- but didn't realize we had to rebuy Mainstage. I sort of understand this move- MS has been part of Logic Studio so if there is a dedicated team working on MS and associated instruments, they likely need to have a revenue stream to develop more- thus make everyone buy the latest App Store version. HOPEFULLY they don't do this to Logic Pro (although I bet they just might).

So, does 2.2. offer anything actually new worth upgrading (beyond fixes). I dind't read anything the screamed out brand new and never before seen in 2.1.x.
