QT will not play wmv files anymore, HELP!

I've had QT with Flip4Mac, Perian, Flash payer installed (as well as the older version of QT 7 where I can do easy edits), and it seems that when I click to open a wmv file as I have a million times in the past, QT says that the operation cannot be completed and the movie doesn't play.

What has caused this to happen? It seems like it stared right after I updated my Flip4Mac...now using 2.4.4.2.

Any idea how to get my wmv files to play again? I'd certainly appreciate any pointers.
