    Sorry....its a question.  How do I get the printer (made for 10.6) to work with my 10.7 on my mac.  The printer itself works but not the scan function

    Have you tried this:

     

    Open Print & Scan preferences. CTRL- or RIGHT-click in the Printers list and select Reset Printing System from the context menu. Now, re-Add the printer selecting the appropriate printer driver. If Lion does not have a printer driver for your make and model, then go to the manufacturer's website and locate the most recent driver for your printer/scanner, download the new driver software, and install it on your computer. Then go through the process of Adding a printer again.
