When I try to turn on iTunes match, the wrong Apple id opens. The Apple ID on my phone is different from the one I used to purchase iTunes iMatch, so it says I need to purchase. How do I get them to match?

You don't.You need to sign in with the same Apple ID on the phone that you used for Match.
I have looked all over settings to try and figure out how to change the Apple ID set up on my phone. Do you know how?
Settings > Store > Apple ID > Sign Out. Then Sign In with the correct ID.
thanks! that worked perfectly. I am also having trouble with step 3 of iTunes Match. I have 306 items to upload, but there does not seem to be any progress over many hours. On Friday, the system had appeared to upload some of these, but when I unplugged my iPhone and moved the laptop, iMatch quit working. Now, it will sit on this screen forever, until (I think) the system shuts down. If I stop and restart, it starts from Step 1, and although it does not take as long to go thru 1 and 2 as it did originally, it still takes 30 mins or so, and then I am once again stuck on Step 3. any advice?
I can't be much help there as I don't use iTunes Match. You have tried restarting the laptop?
