How do you invoke the Windows 'Delete' key on Mac?

For the forward delete function it seems that the picture in this article is incorrect. There is no such delete key on the Mac keyboard as pictured in the table. (It does not appear in the picture of the full keyboard above it.) How do you invoke the Windows 'Delete' key on Mac?
