how to delete photo album on new iPad 3
I have a empty photo album on my iPad3 with a mistyped name. How can I either delete it or edit the name to another title.

I believe that you must control the photo albums from within iPhoto on your Mac. Go to iPhoto and delete the album then re-sync your iPad.
But I don't have a Mac. I only have a new iPad3. I created an album within Photo in error with the wrong name. There are no photos in it - it is empty. I must be able to delete it - I can easily delete single photos - why not an empty album. Or how can I change it's name so I can reuse it for a different group of photos. Isn't this possible?
Please can someone out there who is an iPad expert offer me some help and advice.
Many thanks.
You should be able to delete it via the Edit button at the top right of the album selection screen (i.e. the same button that you used to create it) - the album should get an 'x' on its top left corner, and tapping that should delete the album.
If you made the album yourself then you can tap Edit then tap the gray 'X' to get ride of it like King_Penguin said above. I know that if you sync with iPhoto that you can't delete albums made with the program. But like you said earlier, you don't have a Mac.
