I inserted a blank CD-r to burn some photos and it is not reconized. I cannot eject the disc?? The drive does not show up in finder?? Yes I double checked and there is disc in the drive. Yes I rebooted. What is the fix?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Restart MBP. (You have already done that.)
While restarting hold the trackpad down.

my cd eject mechanism is stuck in eject mode and i can't get a cd into the slot … i have a mac book pro 2010 on OS X
is there any code i can key in to get it to withdraw and work properly ?

If none of the listed options do not work, the you may try taking the DVD drive our and opening up or bring the MBP to an Apple store and see what they can do.
