Is there like a website where I can download an older version of iTunes (like iTunes 1) for my clamshell iBook ?
iBook, Mac OS X (10.0.x), 300Mhz, 160MB Ram, 3GB HDD

You would need iTunes 1.1.1, but the oldest version I've been able to find is iTunes 4.1.

Which operating system version are you actually running on the Clamshell? You say 10.0.x in your profile but I don't know anybody who really runs that anymore.
Well the iBook is just an extra computer, I'm currently using the 2011 iMac on OS X Snow Leopard as well as 2011 MacBook Pro on Snow Leopard. The iBook is running OS X 10.0.4. Thanks for the reply though 🙂
It really looks like Apple has pulled all the links for anything that old. They do list iTunes 2.0.4 which is actually for OS9, but the download link for that is broken. Otherwise the nearest I can find is iTunes 7.5 which is what I run under OSX 10.4 so I think it may be a biit beyond 10.0.4. You can write to Apple and ask them but they will most likely just answer you with a bland, "That version is no longer supported and no longer available." If you're really determined then let me know and we can maybe find another solution.
All Clamshells can run at minimum 10.3.9 as far as Mac OS X, if their firmware is updated upon booting into Mac OS 9.

This will allow you to use iTunes 7.7.1. However, USB on that iBook is extremely slow at only 15 Mbps.

Maximum?
Well the wording of that was funny, because I would not run much lower than that, unless you have some application you need that only runs on less. The Clamshell 300 Mhz can run 10.3.9. The 366 with Firewire can go up to 10.4.11. All need to be aware of the firmware update they can take.
From what I've read, they must have a firmware update prior to installing OS X.

I have various links to "what do I do when I forgot to do the firmware update first" questions, so although one should do it first, it doesn't look like the OS installer is going to grind to a halt and warn you.
It seems like this is drifting a bit off topic though I suspect the OP has had his/her answer. 🙂
Firmware is a must for 10.2 or later.
10.0.1, 10.0.2, 10.0.4, 10.1, 10.1.1, 10.1.2, 10.1.3, 10.1.4, 10.1.5 are all earlier.
Thanks for that clarification.

No, I don't believe it does, which was a real problem at the time Mac OS X 10.2 came out.
Not really no 🙂. This community has been helping me a lot ! Thanks for the replies and I'll ask Apple if I can obtain OS9 and also iTunes 1 😀
I'm on 10.0.4 😟
I was able to find the link (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1270?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US) but after I clicked the link it says link not found.
