Adding 4GB RAM to 2007 MacBook

Can I add 2x2GB mem sticks in my 2Ghz Intel Core Duo MacBook (2007)? ie. 1x2GB mem stick per slot.

Model Identifier: MacBook1,1

Suggest you download and run the Crucial OS X Scanner on your MacBook. It will show you what is possible and the correct memory to order for your system.

No the model 1,1 (Early 2006) can only use 2gb of 667mhz PC2-5300 RAM.
