Why are the card choices for iPhoto so limited?

Trying to make a Father's Day card, nothing to choice from. It was the same for Mother's Day. I love making cards from iPhoto but the poor selection is forcing me to find another vendor to use. Does anyone have suggestions for a card making site that has better selection than Apple does?
