I have PC running Windows Vista (32bit) Service Pack 2 and I was wondering if I could iMessage from my PC because I can't get back to my iOS device for another 2 months. My iOS device is the New iPad (3rd Generation) running iOS 5.1.1.

iMessage, Windows Vista

    Hi,

    No.

iMessage is messaging system that Apple do that works with the iOS Messages app or the Message Beta on the Mac.

    There is no PC version.

If you have iChat or Messages beta on your Mac then you can chat to PCs if both parties use either AIM valid Names or Jabber valid names.

The AIM app for PCs will do SMS to certain phones if your are in the United States and the Phone is one  carrier that supports th AIM SMS  forwarding process.
