my macbook is not charging

Do you have some more information? What type of Macbook and year. When did the problem start, how do you charge it? With your adapter or via the thunderbolt display?

When my MBA is not charging (no matter with power adapter or via thunderbolt display) I unplug power cord and plug that again. Usually that helps.

i noticed my battery was running low. so i put the charger thing on and nothing happened i thought the problem was in the outlet so i tried using a different one. even tried changing the adapters from the short cable to the long cable. so heres what happens i plug my macbook up and no light comes on or anything alomst like i doesnt realize its pluged up. plz help im running on my last 9% i need my laptop for tomarro sending it to apple will take too long. plz

What I would do in this situationis this: Try different outlets, try plugging and unplugging, and If the problem persists go to your local apple store or someone with the identical working cable and try with that. If the problem still persists then consider sending in for repair due to narrowing the issue to your computer.

May need to reset Power Manament Unit. This depends on your machine. Also MagSafe come loose. Is LED on?

If it stays green then not charging, but MagSafe connection okay.

First check MagSafe contacts are clean.

Sometimes the power adaptor (that you plug into the wall) goes bad without warning. Have you tried a different one?

Have you tried restarting it? My mac had this issue too and I just restarted my computer and it was charging when I turned it back on. If that doesn't work, I'd take it an apple store or another place that works on macs. Good luck getting your computer to work.
