Q: How do I open a personal WIFI hotspot from my iPad 3? I have followed the instructions but none seam to be for iPad

Hi, please can some one walk me through how I can open a personal hotspot from my iPad 3? I have 3G up and running on the device but all the screen shots and instructions I can find are for the iPhone?

    If you can't find it in Settings > General > Network > Personal Hotspot then have you checked with your carrier to see if they support it on the iPad (even if they support it on the iPhone they don't necessarily also support it on the iPad) ? It might also be an extra fee/subscription from them - you could also check to see if there are any carrier updates available : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1970
