I lost my purchased songs after IOS update, where can I find them now?

OK. If you have "ticked" entire music library, then all of your music should sync to the iPad. You have to either select "Entire Music Library" or if you choose "Selected playlists, artist, etc..." then you must tick the playlists, artist etc in the window like I do.

Laura .... you are looking in the Music app for the songs - correct? Don't look in iTunes on the iPad.

I am stumped. Is there any music in the music app?

Try this now. Quit the Music app, restart the iPad and then launch the Music app again.

Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Music app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus ➖ sign in the upper left corner to close the app. Restart the iPad.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

After the iPad restarts - tap the Music app icon and see if the songs appear.

You're quite welcome but I am running out of ideas .... Click on the arrow next to your iPad's name and then click on Music under that.

But what I want to know is do you see any songs when you click on Muisc like I showed you here. Do your purchased songs show up in the window on the right?

OK. Do you see them in your iTunes library? If you click on Music under the Library heading in the upper left corner of iTunes, are your songs in there.

Wow... If the songs are not in your iTunes library, then no wonder the songs aren't syncing, they are not on your computer. The songs have to be in your iTunes library or there is nothing to sync to the iPad.

Did you buy these songs on the iPad and never transfer them to iTunes on your computer?
