I lost my purchased songs after IOS update, where can I find them now?

Hello there!

I can't seem to redownload my purchased songs after the IOS 5.1.1 update on my Ipad. They stand as bought, but it seems like I can't download them?

Can it really be true that I can't get my songs back?

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list, or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.

I'm from Denmark, but there wasn't the cross by music, so I asume that I need to buy it all again?

And yes, I synced with Itunes, but I lost some of my music when I did it so, I tried to do it again but it didn't come back. I tried to buy it again but can't seem to repurchase it for some odd reason. It won't let me do it, and there is just stading "Bought" by the buy button.

Try this now. If you auto sync, go ahead and let the iPad sync. Then do the following. If your iPad is already connected and iTunes is running, obviously you can skip the first step.

Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.

Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.

Click on the Music Tab on the right.

Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.

Click on the Sync Music Heading.

Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

The Sync Music heading is at the top of the iTunes window in the Music Tap of iTunes. It has to be in there.

While your iPad is connected, while iTunes is running, and after you have selected your iPad under devices - click on the Music Tab at the top of the iTunes window on the right side. You do not see the Sync Music heading?

If you are signed into the same Apple account on your computer as you are on the iPad, and if the songs show up in your iTunes library and you have selected them all to sync ... I am at a loss.

Try two more things.

Check in the Summary Tab of iTunes (when the iPad is connected to the PC and iTunes is running and after you have clicked on the iPad name) - and make sure that you do NOT have the iPad set for Manually Manage Music and Videos. Make sure that that option is unchecked. If it was checked by some chance, that could be the reason that the songs will not sync.

Finally, quit everything, restart everything and try again. Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and rest the iPad and then try to sync again.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
