Open Airport Utility and search it's Help for "erase" which should find an article explaining what to do.

Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility

Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit

Click the Disks tab at the top of the page

    Click Erase

The Quick Erase option will work fine unless you plan to move the Time Capsule to another person

Warning....this will completely wipe the disk, so if you have any other files that you want to preserve, you need to move them to another temporary storage area before you click Erase the second time.
