Q: Will power nap work on my macbook pro 13-inch mid 2009?

Will power nap work on my macbook pro 13-inch mid 2009?

I was just reading the small print about power nap where it says "Power Nap requires a Mac notebook with built-in flash storage. May require a firmware update".

I assume this means SSD or am i wrong?

I believe that the PowerNap feature depends on hardware support, hence the cutoff date AND the need for original Apple SSD storage.
