Why does Itunes preview stop after 10 seconds?

It seem like when I try and preview music at Itunes Store, it stops after 10 seconds. It used to play a song for at least 90 seconds.... ????

I also just downloaded v10.6.3.25 (using Vista) and have the same abbreviated preview issue. To Itune Support, this seems to have been posted here back on June 12th. As of June 22nd there are no responses as to how this can be fixed. How about an update with a patch for this obvious widespread issue? Or do we just rollback to the previous "working" version?.

1. Use these DNS:Google and Verizon DNS
Primary DNS = 8.8.8.8 Secondary DNS = 4.2.2.1

2. Then apply these instructions:

Windows XP

  1. On the Start menu, click Run.
  2. In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
  3. In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return(Enter) on the keyboard.
  4. You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.

Windows Vista and Windows 7

  1. On the Start menu, point to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
  2. In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return(Enter) on the keyboard.
  3. You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.

Your problem should be 100% solved 🙂
