Problem getting into Mac operating system

In boot camp I cannot get into the Mac system. Until today I could choose the Mac system at startup by holding down the ALT key. Now the key does not work and the computer loads Windows. I have tried holding down the shift key and also the D key.

Start in Windows as you don't have any choice at present. Go to the control panels and open the Boot Camp panel. You should be able to select either mac or Win for startup.

Can you boot from your Mac OS installer disk? If you can boot from it and "Repair Disk" and see if that helps.

Make sure you hold the Option/Alt key down the whole time, right?

What happens when you choose the Mac HD from the Boot Camp Control panel?

Don't know if you know this or not but you can go into the "System Preferences"/ "Start up Disk" and you can choose the Windows HD to restart instead of having to hold the Option key down all the time. The same way you can go into the Boot Camp Control panel in Windows and choose the Mac HD to restart.
