2012 Macbook Pro Ram upgrade requirements of Ram to be compatible?

I believe it will.

Newegg is fine but I would trust OWC to be absolutely certain you are buying the correct memory. Check it on their website and then compare prices.

The reason for my reticence is that I bought the correct specification memory from Newegg and it didn't work. I returned it for a refund and bought from OWC. Newegg's return policy is good.

The specifications look to be proper so it may very well work. The most reliable vendors for MBP RAM are OWC and Crucial. Check out what they have available before you commit.

I am not sure if you get the answer but the GSkill RAM will work on MBP.

It works on my MBP 2011.

Those are good RAM, I have installed them in a few MBP and it works all the time.

This is 1.5V (DDR3) not 1.35V (DDR3L). Do we have a definitive answer on whether both are compatible?
