How to get narration on both stereo channels

I exported a Quicktime Movie of my project. It sounds and looks great, except the narration is on the left channel and the music is on the right, even though I carefully made sure every audio track was "stereo right and left channels." Why is the narration only on one side? How can I have the narration coming through both stereo channels?
