Issue using Dell BH200 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Greetings!

I am trying to use a Dell BH200 stereo bluetooth headset with my Macbook Pro. I can get the headset to pair with the macbook pro just fine, and it works for mono audio. However if I go into system preferences->audio and force it to stereo it disconnects. The same thing happens if I try to switch the input from the built in microphone to the bluetooth headset. Finally, the audio that does come across bluetooth tends to sound ok, however it will occasionally have a burst where the audio gets delayed, or cuts in/out. I have paired this just fine in linux, in windows xp, and it pairs with both my HTC EVO4g and Blackberry cell phone. I just can't get it to work right with my macbook. Any advice would be really appreciated. I am using OSX Lion.
