On my Apple TV 2 with iOS 5.0.2, whenever I resume a movie in Netlfix (Canada), the subtitles are not in sync, either too early or too late (3-5 seconds). It only happens when I resume a movie; when I start a new one, the syncing between the audio and subtitles is ok.
I don't have this problem on my LG Smart TV 2011 and my iPad with iOS 5.1.1. It seems restricted to the Netflix app on the ATV 2.
Anyone else has this problem?
Same problem here.
I tried turn aTV off and on, reboot, restart from begining of the movie, and no one solve this.
But I realize 2 things:
I hope Apple and Netflix can work around this asap, cause this is very frustating. 😟
You tip doesn't put back the subtitles in sync.
The issue also occurs on the Netflix app version 2.2 for iOS (iPad, iPhone). It seems the problem is on Netflix's end.

I'm sorry Esben, but didn't work for me... I've even tried with each of the different speeds... One question, though: When you say fast reverse the film for one minute or so, Do you mean one minute according to the film (assuming it's fast reversing, one minute would take just a few seconds to fast revers) or one minute according the the clock in my wall (one minute according to my wall clock could actually mean the whole espiode)?

Same problem here for about a year (using my iPad). But for some reason the problem was fixed on certain TV shows/movies and not others.
Ok - what I did then was back to homescreen....(exit Netflix) and then start movie again. That should work.....and better than just rewinding.....
I think the last thing to do is to restart your device......and then contact Netflix support.
