Verification Email

I just recently changed the email that is also in my apple ID. When I try to update the iCloud settings. It keeps saying email needs to be verified but when I check my mail I still haven't received my verification email. I've checked the trash and spam folder and I still haven't received the email. Is there a way to get this quick? My contacts are all in the cloud and right now my phone does not show me anybody's contacts.
