Hello all,
my old ipod usb got damaged.So,today i just bought a original apple usb cable from best buy.While i plug it in computer says 'usb device not recognized" neither it appears in itunes.I tried looking for solutions in internet for hours but didnot get any solutions .I am really in urgent.I need anyhow to get my ipod charged (at least 80%) as i should record one of the most important programs.PLease help ! I am totally crazy

i tried that too but worse happened !
Now my ipod wont even open
There appears a white ring on black screen continuosly
I dried the battery but same thing happens again
Now,I am completely stuck and have no clue what to do
I can neither restore ,nor open
Is there any way to reset the ipod to factory defaults without using computer? Like by opening the cover and donig smth inside it to reset..Please help,I am mentally overloaded ðŸ˜
With the condition of your iPod you need a computer. Based on the troubleshooting you performed I would try another computer and try this:

Last is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
I tried that and now its in dfu mode
I tried to restore but when i plug it in it says
"usb drive (apple recovery driver(dfu)) not recognized ) so I cannot restore it .
Now, new problem arises 😟
