I haven't bought the app yet, but the iWork pages looks awesome! But I would like to know if I can upload my writing to a blog from the pages app.

No, Pages doesn't have a way to upload to any internet site or app nor can it export as html. However, you might be able to copy & paste the contents to your blog or insert a PDF of the Pages document.
I set up a blog on Blogger but I haven't posted to it in a long time because of some login screw up on that I can't seem to fix through Google.
Then I started a Wordpress blog, and it seems to be a lot easier to use than blogger. I really like the ease of typing on my new iPad...I guess I'm hoping it will be just as easy in Pages.
Oh yeah! (lightbulb over my head...with your help).
I just got on to Wordpress thru my iPad...everything is so much easier just having this new device. I don't even know if I'll need pages now.

My point was that you can't directly upload from Pages. I was trying to think of other ways to do it, something I haven't done in so long, I can't remember when or how!
Sorry Peggy, but the text does not need to be in html, rtf export to web pages using the appropriate CSS3 style sheets should do the job fine.

Hi Peter...thanks for the input, but please forgive a lame iPad user (just got it for my b'day...love,love,love it). What's "rtf" mean, and what are CSS3 style sheets?
rtf is an open styled text format.
CSS3 style sheets apply set styling within web pages.
What blog have you set up, with what software? It isn't just a matter of directly posting text up.
