delete (reset) ical & adressbook on the lion server?

Hello

I have change some DNS-Entries on my lion server. (new hosttname). Ich checked everthing with "sudo changeip -checkhostname" and it seems to work fine. Also the OD.

Now it sorted out that i have some Problems with my ical & adressbook server.

How can i delete them an make the straight new, so that i got a new entry for the old

/principals/__uids__/94ACA880-F72E-4738-9F22-AE9607C1DF89/

At this moments a couple of time a day it complain that their is now connection for this Calender. Also the Adressbook refuse to save new entries.

I both want to reset this ical & adressbook server part, but i can't find how to do it?

Here ist the error I got on the Lion & Snow Leopard Clients

Die URL „https://xyz123.dyndns.org:8443/principals/__uids__/94ACA880-F72E-4738-9F22-AE960 7C1DF89/“ hat folgenden HTTP-Fehler verursacht: 404. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die URL korrekt ist.

I think the messege is clear also for english speaking persion.

It gives an HTTP Error 404? but I thought I don't use http at all?

I'm confused as to why you are trying to use a regular URL in the second post. At any rate the link below has instructions to delete the existing calendar database and start up a new one. Remember all calendar data will be deleted from the server.

No Problem

I am able to backup all the data. I want to reset all the existing principals (??) on the server.

I have no idea how to delete them? Should I tried to make an new OD Master?

Sorry, I forgot to put the link in.

The above will clear the caldav stuff. Demoting the server and then promoting again to OD master will cause all accounts to be deleted, including calendar, imap email and address book data. So that is another way to do what you want if you don't much work already put in setting up users and their services

Do you know if this is also vailible for the Adressbook & iCal-Server on Snow Leopard. I think those 10.6 doesn't accpt postgres.

Any Idea?

There may be some things you can do in SnoLep Server. But it's been so long since I looked at it I don't remember. I do know that beginning with Lion Apple switched to postgres. Prior to that I think it was MySQL.
