Synch & Play are not working

i have two problems.

1. every time i sync, my laptop switches off

2. i can not play my songs anymore, i select the song and pras play and it goes back the screen goes back to playlist

are these two connected?

When you say "My laptop switches off", what is happening? Is it a "Blue Screen of Death"?

Can you see any error message?
It could be the same problem: you iTunes installation has got a problem, and that's why your notebook is shuting down when trying to sync... and because of the problem, iTunes can't sync your music to your iPod touch...
Please add some details! It will be much easier to help you!
