Expresscard 34 slot - Mac USB 3.0 support

Is their driver support for Expresscard 34 USB 3.0 for Mac Lion running on Late 2008 Macbook Pro (which has a expresscard dock)

Macbook Pro 15" (Unibody) 2009, Mac OS X (10.6), 2.4Ghz/4Gb RAM/250Gb HD/256mb Nvidia 9400M/9600M GT

the driver installed and the lacie expresscard usb 3 tested on both lion and snow leopard using time machine.

using usb 3 lacie rugged 500gb drive portable, no ac adapter.

no connection.


but, i connect my seagate usb 2, and mac recognized it and i can transfer in usb 2 speed.


i look around on apple discussion,

one manufacturer says imo, honestly

i guess im buying firewire 800 drive

and wait til imac with usb 3 come along.
