A film downloaded on my ipad which has since been deleted is nowhere to be seen in my purchased items so I cannot download it on to my itunes

Movies are only available for redownload in the U.S and not all movies are available for this service there.
What country are you in ? Films can currently only be re-downloaded by US iTunes accounts, and not all film studios are allowing their films to be re-downloaded.
I get that, but if I had downloaded the film on my computer, could I have synced the film to my ipad?
