Q: how to copy icloud backup to my computer

I have a iPad2 and iPad3.  I've been made a iPad2's backup by iCloud. But, when I'll do a restore from iCloud to iPad3, the error connection always occur.  My backup is aproximately 5GB.  And everytime I'm always monitoring my internet's connection and it's ok during iPad3 restore.  I don´t know what can I do, because I try it 10 times.

 

Is there a way from download this backup from iCloud to my computer and restore this backup from my computer by iTunes?

    I am nothing less than extrememly frustrated with a similar problem.  I have an Iphone4s that has a 22 Gig Icloud file that "cant restore" due to internet issues.  I have tried going directly to my friends ISP with 4x failover internet and it fails.  It's not a problem on my end.  ICloud is a terrible waste of time.  I am sure that its hosted overseas on some garbage servers and they are busy collecting their 40$ a year from over 125 million people!  Now it's impossible to "download" my image of my phone to a computer to restore my backup??  I have wasted DAYS working on this!  The phone isn't functional at all when you are "attempting" to restore it for HOURS!  What a JOKE!!!
