I was using PhotoStream since it came out to sync photos between all of my devices - but since about a month ago - it stopped working.
The iPhone won't upload any photos to the PhotoStream anymore... What could be the problem?

On an iOS device, new photos you take will be automatically uploaded to your Photo Stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi.
Try closing the camera app and make sure you are connected to Wifi, and see what happens.
I'm connected to WiFi most of the time - and I used the camera app on more than one occusion in the last month - so it didn't solved my problem :/

Did you close the camera app?

Just for clarity, are the photos you take on the iPhone getting into the Photostream album in the iPhone's Photos app?
Make sure you Icloud back up is set to ON.
And Photo stream is also ON
This is in setting and Icloud then Photo stream and IcloudStorage and backup at the bottom.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.
Maybe you have reached the hourly or daily threshold, not likely but its worth a try
If you upload tons of photos you may have reached the max space for Photos in the cloud. I think it is 10GB.
Also, Photo stream only supports these formates. Photo Stream supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and most RAW photo formats

Looks like you've done all the normal troubleshooting tips. As a last resort, you might want to try resetting the photostream feature.
Tried reseting my PhotoStream twice - yesterday and today.
Gave me "could not reset photostream error".
I know I had this same issue and after reading thread after tread of why doesn't my photostream work, I found this to be helpful (which solved my problem). Go to Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync
Mine was trying to sync with another laptop that I once plugged my phone into to charge one night. I'm not sure if this was truely the problem but when I came home and synced my phone with the correct machine I found that it was working again. Ironic? At least its working again 🙂
